First Easter

She wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny, or finding eggs, for that matter.
This is the extent of the eggs we got...3. And those are the ones I put in her basket. Oh well, there's always next year!

Sophia is giving her advice on spotting the eggs.

It's very important to color coordinate your diapie-blankets with your Sunday clothes. Easter morning mass was a marathon. I didn't bother to get there early, since I knew we'd be at the back of the church eventually anyway. And adding an extra twenty minutes to my already hour long arm work-out, was not about to happen.

She may not be a lady, but she certainly is flexible.

And generous with her snacks...

I don't think MaryAlice fully appreciates the scope of my talents...

First Haircut and Other Odds and Ends

I took MaryAlice to The Magic Kingdom for her first professional haircut. We battled the elements on the way as it was raining when we got there and I'm sure I said to myself repeatedly, "I must be out of my mind!". But I persevered and carried the 26 lbs. dumpling from the car to the entrance (no sissy tram for us!), in the rain and through the park. Okay, so the barber shop is practically right at the entrance, but it does make for a good story. No tears or shreaks from MaryAlice, as she was enthralled with the Mickey stickers. She even wore her new set of ears for more than 3 seconds. More pictures to come this week, so stay tuned.
