If you checked my blog today, you may have noticed a woman's picture where the number "18" use to appear! I have no idea who she is or how her picture got on my blog, but I deleted the picture.

EIGHTEEN MONTHS!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I have nothing new to report. July referrals covered up to 11-14-05. That means there are 63 (if I did my math right...and that is highly suspect!) LID days left until it is my turn. Based on recent history, the CCAA has been averaging about 9 LID days per referral batch. The referral batches come out on average, every 32 days. Some rumors indicate that once they get through November, which was huge, they might be able to speed up through December.

On 7-16-07, I'll celebrate my 18 month wait being "paper pregnant"...fun times!!

Check out the link to Ava Claire to see the pictures of my friends, Linda and Roy, meeting their daughter in China now. She's grown so much from her referral photo and is absolutely beautiful. I've known Linda and Roy for about 18 months; meeting once a month at the local FCC Waiting Families dinner. We've talked about this trip for so long, that its hard to believe they are finally making it. Linda and I have talked about Ava Claire and Mary Alice being playmates, so I'm so excited to meet this little girl.
