My Bags are Packed, I'm Ready to Go....
NOT!
Seriously!! How many trips to Target and CVS pharmacy does it take to travel to China??
Cheerios....$3
Visas....$130
Plane Tickets....$1,100
Having your sister-in-law seated on the long flight home next to MaryAlice, while you sit in the row behind her...PRICELESS!!!
"Hey, keep that baby quiet! Momma needs her sleep!" LOL!!

Thank goodness I'm the sister and not the sister-in-law!!!
LOL you ll are cracking me up I can't wait to follow your trip
Hey! That looks like a great start to me - do you have a packing list you can share? I'm picking brains and have found a couple good resources to start with. Can't wait to start making my piles! Maybe tomorrow.
Tomorrow, 8/10 is our Aidan's first b'day. I'm sad and happy and all sorts of emotions at the same time. Mostly ANXIOUS TO GET TO HER!!!

Great picture and post. I'm sure your sister-in-law is excited to hang with MaryAlice for all those hours :)
Keep checking off the calendar.

That is too funny, Sharon! I know what you mean, Walgreens and Target have been my home away from home! Your packing progress look exactly like mine! I am hoping it all magically comes together somehow! LOL! Your seating arrangement is hilarious! Hope your sister in law likes kids! Heehee!
Love,
:)Di
Ahhh yes. I remember well the chaos of trying to pack - and taking far more than we needed to! LOL! YOur pic is great!
Best wishes on your travel... MaryAlice is such a doll!
Great photo - I had an entire bed that looked just like that up until about a week before we traveled. Just before we left, I threw in some "take and toss" bowls and spoons - priceless - used them every day. In China, we realized that we did not have a bottle for water for DD so bought that there.
Your daughter is absolutely adorable - have a wonderful trip!
Just checking in...less than 10 days...I can't wait to follow along, and I know how excited you're getting.
My only advice is to pack well in advance, so that you have that last weekend to go out with your friends on last time as a "single woman", get a mani/pedi, go to the spa...whatever you like best. Plus, you'll look extra fab for all the gotcha day photos.
Happy packing!
Carol:
I've got the mani/pedi scheduled Thursday, compliments of my good friends! I was so happy to meet a family that is sending their daughter to the same daycare and she will be in the same room. The mom is from Guangzhou! How cool is that!
