Happy Year of the Tiger!
MaryAlice celebrated Chinese New Year at her school today. The kids decorated Chinese lanterns with stickers, colored Year of the Tiger pages and read, "My First Chinese New Year" by Karen Katz. We're getting our hair cut and meeting friends for dinner at a local Chinese restaurant this weekend, as well as cleaning the house and eating noodles. Throw in a Valentine's Day celebration, President's Day, and you've got alot of partying going on in our house.

We're kicking of the holiday weekend with an International Feast Party for the opening day of the Olympics. The kids have been off school since Wednesday, so they are all antsy. I'm trying to corral that energy into cleaning for the party :)
We're rolling Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, and the Olympics into one big nite!
Have I told you lately that I am SOOOO envious of MA's hair!!!!
