Magic Eight Ball

Okay, this is completely off topic, but I just found these two links on the Rumor Queen's Blogspot and they are hysterical!!

1) Virtual Magic Eight Ball: http://www.indra.com/cgi-bin/magic-8-ball

I asked if I would be travelling to China this year and the answer is....."Rely on this"

2) Virtual Bubble Wrap: http://www.therightfoot.net/mystuff/whatever/swf/bubblewrap.swf

This has nothing to do with adoption, but its fun, passes the time and is cheap entertainment!

Rumors are the next batch will be out soon and will go through June 28th!!!! That's almost two weeks worth of referrals and we haven't seen that in months!

Dragon Boat Festival or Moon Festival????

I dragged some friends to the Dragon Boat Races today at Moss Park, and lo and behold, we also celebrated the Summer Moon Festival! I think he's a plumber in training. Don't worry, I don't make it a habit of documenting kid's fannies. His mother is going to love this picture and will probably get a copy of it for her birthday next week. We experienced eating a dumpling and still haven't quite figured out what the mystery meat was. It was sticky rice over the mystery meat, wrapped in large leaves and twine, then steamed. The races were similiar to crew, except the rowing is done to the beat of a drum. We didn't stay for all the races, as the kids were getting tired and cranky. Their mom and I were still recovering from the previous night of poker and margaritas for my birthday, so we opted to leave early and grab a Slurpee.
